SAP PS Consultant (w/m/d)

For our client, an internationally operating company in the medical technology sector, we are looking for an SAP PS Consultant (m/f/d) to support the project with immediate effect.

Exciting tasks await you

  • In this role you will be responsible for SAP Project System and related applications (‘Classical’ SAP ECC PS, SAP PPM, CATS, Installed Base) based on various technology stacks (ABAP Objects, SAP Workflow, Web Dynpro, UI5).
  • You will work together with our Customer Services and other IT departments to design and harmonize business processes in multiple crucial projects in our central manufacturing SAP system, incl. FDA-relevant topics such as handling of medical equipment update and upgrade activities.
  • You will be responsible as Change Manager for the successful delivery of quality IT solutions ranging from direct demands by the business up to complex strategic initiatives.
  • You will be a point of contact for data integration topics and interfaces in and out of the SAP PS area.
  • You will drive requirements clarification and create functional specifications, oversee solution design and effort estimation, control implementation and test activities by our service delivery partners.
  • You embrace innovation and consult our business stakeholders towards building a sustainable application landscape leveraging hybrid cloud architecture offerings.
  • You will engage as an IT Expert in cross-border and cross-business projects delivering solution design for SAP PS module in alignment with project stakeholders.

These qualifications characterize you

  • very good technical experience in SAP PS and extensive knowledge of business processes in the field of customer service-related projects. You are proficient in all aspects of SAP PS module and have very good understanding of integration points with other SAP modules like CS, Installed Base, SD, MM, FI, CO and Archiving.
  • Technical expertise in ABAP (object-oriented part in particular, interface technology, Workflow) and UI5/FIORI would be highly appreciated, S4/HANA knowledge is a big bonus.
  • You understand complex IT implementation and validation frameworks pertaining to medical equipment handling. Any additional experience in healthcare industries is highly valued.
  • You participated in several ERP implementations and SAP upgrades already, ideally you have recently completed an S4/HANA implementation and integration with satellite systems.
  • 10% domestic and international travel, related to projects may be required, depending on project location.
