For a freelance project we are looking for a
LanWin3 is a grid connection in the North Sea between Heide, Büsum and the offshore windfarm under development by BP. The project is also undertaking preparatory activities for LanWin6 along the shared cable corridor. These grid connections will each have a 2 GW transmission capacity.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of the interfaces between the specialist 50Hertz departments for program execution: Permits (CPS) and Offshore Dept. (FO) and coordination and subsequent processing of the resulting tasks with the specialist project manager for cable laying (FO) on the one hand and the specialist project manager for approval (CPS-O) on the other.
- Desired participation in project meetings
- Independent tracking/monitoring and implementation of permit conditions
- Revision of environmental and technical documents of the execution planning and construction engineering with a focus on permit conditions
- Regular reports to the authorities as per reporting obligations
- Communication with the authorities and public bodies
- Preparation of technical tender documents
- Communication: creation of presentations; explainers and supporting the 50Hertz corporate Communications dept.
- Specialist support / coordination of external service providers (e.g. environmental planners, ecological construction supervision, Subject Matter Experts)
- Schedule and cost control of technical tender documents
- Documentation in document management system
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in the role of Permit Compliance Engineer
The above-mentioned experience must be provided on the basis of personal project references (not older than 3 years). The references must contain at least the following information: Subject of the contract, period of performance, client, activity undertaken, brief description of the activity.
- At least 5 years‘ experience as a Permit Compliance Engineer
- Confident with the concept and permit process Planfeststellungsverfahren and compliance monitoring of the Planfeststellungsbeschluss and its Auflagen (project permit and permit conditions)
- Excellent knowledge of German (C1) and English (at least B2)
- Intimate knowledge of state and federal permitting authorities incl. but not limited to: AfPE; BSH; GDWS; MEKUN; LKN; WSV
- Good knowledge of QGIS, Google Earth Pro, MS PowerPoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
