Für unseren Kunden suchen wir einen "Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d) QEMU Virtual Platforms" zur Unterstützung im Projekt.

Spannende Aufgaben warten auf Dich

• Design, development and maintain QEMU-based virtual platforms for embedded systems
• Develop and integrate virtual ECUs (vECUs) for Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) testing environments
• Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure behavioral consistency between virtual and physical ECUs
• Troubleshoot integration and runtime issues in the vECU workflow
• Work with Linux kernel development, QEMU, and KVM to build and optimize virtualization environments
• Support co-simulation and virtualization using Functional Mock-up Units (FMUs)
• Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Ensure compatibility and integration with hypervisors and virtual device interfaces
• Simulate and test communication stacks and vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)

Diese Qualifikationen zeichnen Dich aus

• Extensive experience in embedded controller software development within the automotive industry
• Strong proficiency in C and C++, with a focus on system-level and embedded software
• Hands-on experience with QEMU, KVM, and Linux kernel development
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of hypervisors and virtual device interfaces
• Experience with QNX and Linux derivatives such as Yocto
• Understanding of vehicle bus systems and communication stack testing
• Experience working with FMUs and co-simulation environments
• Solid grasp of SiL testing methodologies and virtual ECU workflows
