Für unseren Kunden, ein Unternehmen aus der IT-Dienstleistungsbranche, suchen wir ab sofort einen Backup Engineer (w/m/d) mit Schwerpunkt "EMC Networker" zur Erbringung der nachfolgenden Leistung:
Spannende Aufgaben warten auf Dich
- Selbstständige Implementierung und Verwaltung komplexer Backup-Umgebungen
- Unterstützung bei der Ausarbeitung und Implementierung von Disaster-Recovery-Verfahren
- Patch- und Releasemanagement der Umgebungen mit den dazu entsprechenden Software- und Hardwarekomponenten
- Konfiguration, Monitoring und Pflege von geeigneten Backupprozeduren und -plänen gemäß Kunden- bzw. Vertragsvorgaben
- Bearbeitung von Backup-/Restore-Requests, Wartungen und Updates der Systeme
- Incident Management, Problemanalyse und Planung und Umsetzung von Changes
- Erstellung von Reports sowie Dokumentationen
Diese Qualifikationen zeichnen Dich aus
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in den Backup-Lösungen von NetWorker Data-Protection-Software, idealerweise HPE DataProtector
- Grundkenntnisse im Betrieb von Windows Servern und Linux Servern sind wünschenswert sowie Backup / Recovery-Kenntnisse für gängige Datenbanken (Microsoft SQL, Oracle), Mailservern (Microsoft Exchange) und virtuelle Systeme
- Kenntnisse der gängigen Backup-Storagesystemen und Libraries
- Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
